K9IJ - Operating Activities

My operating activities include DXing on HF and VHF, and contesting, where I have 314 countries confirmed of 315 worked on HF and all states worked and confirmed on Six Meters..

I'm a member of the Society of Midwest Contesters (go SMC) and compete in HF contests for SMC. For VHF contests, I collaborate with N9UM as "Team PapaFox" from various locations including roving in the January VHF Contest.

I'm an active member of The Suburban UHF Amateur Repeater Society, where I maintain the club WEB pages at www.suhfars.org and am a control operator and one of the net control team for the weekly nets.

I'm an active member of Lake County (Il) RACES/ARES where I'm a member of the Board of Directors and maintain the website at www.races.org

I'm a Life Member of AMSAT and occasionally active on the satellites.

I'm a Life Member of the ARRL.
